London International Mime Festival

29 days of action starting 9th of January will sweep the city of London with 112 performances lined up for the International Mime Festival. Over 18 companies will put on the shows in some of the best arts venues in London, with a diverse range of artists from Sweden, Holland, Germany, France, Belgium and Australia.  Some of the local emerging talents of Britain will also play a key part. The festival will kick off with Marcel at the Shaw Theatre, while The Art of Laughter will provide an ultimate hour of brilliant observation.

London Art Fair 2017

The 29th edition of London Art Fair will take place from 18th to 22nd of January at the Business Design Centre with some high-end artistic displays on offer. Hosting over 125 art galleries this year, the annual fair is all set to showcase some of the masterpieces and modern artworks by leading artists of this generation.  In addition to the main display zone, there are a couple of curated sections that focus on new works and modern photography. With artworks from the ancient times to the modern day, and covering everything from painting to sculptures, there is something to interest art fanatics of all tastes.

Magical Lantern Festival

Witness the delightfully sculpted lanterns taking different forms, as the Magical Lantern Festival fuses the art, culture and heritage to celebrate the Chinese New Year in style. Due to be held from 19th to 26th of January, the theme for 2017 festival is ‘Explore the Silk Road’. You’ll be exposed to wonderful lantern scenes highlighting and representing the significant route of culture and trade from Europe to China.  International range of food stalls will be available on spot, alongside mini funfair and virtual reality games.
