London Wing Fest
The biggest chicken wing show in Europe will be returning to the city, this August on the 6th, with a tough competition to win the coveted title. 16 participants will be battling out in a fierce competition for the best buffalo wing and the wild wing in London. Different categories have been established to demonstrate and explore the many ways of preparing a chicken wing and serving it in the best possible manner. This is going to be one scrumptious event for all the chicken lovers out there, as they get an opportunity to taste a variety of deeply fried wings covered in a spicy sauce.
Queer British Art
This rich and fascinating survey on Queer Art will be based on two parts of legislation. One is the prejudiced decriminalisation of homosexuality and the other one is the closure of death penalty for sodomy. The biggest theme of the show is concealment, as evident from paintings that express desire. There are several pictures of important figures, including Oscar Wilde. This is one rare exhibition where you will find text panel bearing the stories of guilt, confidential affairs and unreturned love.
Sunfall
On the 12th of August, the Brockwell Park will turn into festive mood with an opportunity to catch cult heroes and big dancers. This one-day event comes from the crews behind the city nightspots XOYO, Phonox and The Nest, along with the equally top-rated Croatian festival Dimensions and Outlook. There are a couple of parts to the Sunfall Festival, including a day of raving entertainment which will be followed by a sequence of after parties across the south city, without any additional cost!
Robots
Head towards the Exhibitions Science Museum in Brompton on the 17th of August, for a show of creepy looking exhibits on display. 5 different sections will run through 5 centuries of robotic history, right from the religious origin of mechanical inventions to the craze for automations. Developing from an era of motor engineering to artificial intelligence, we witness the robots talk and walk like a human. The fair-like displays of modern creations include Kodomoroid, the Japanese newsreader and iMac with limbs.
The Covent Garden Comedy Club @ Heaven
The Covent Garden Comedy Club is widely popular as one of the best comedy clubs in the city and it takes pride in delivering only the most reputed names in the circuit. Each of the shows features an extremely hilarious comedy act that is sure to leave your stomach aching with laughter. Notting Hill Carnival

The carnival will be followed by Sunday Parade or Family Day in afternoon, with the emerging performers showing their moves in their elaborate costumes. Monday, the summer bank holiday will be the day for Grand Finale. Variety of drinks and delectable food will be available on the food stalls for all the three days. There will be stage shows and live music performances which can be enjoyed from the static systems down the streets.
